Annual Holiday Soiree proceeds benefit Chapter UTD scholarship

Close to 100 members and guests attended the CoreNet Global Southwest Holiday Soiree on December 11th at Humanscale's offices Downtown at 800 Jackson St. The event was generously sponsored by Humanscale, Tandus-Centiva and Workplace Solutions.

Almost $1000 was raised that contributes towards the Southwest Chapter's commitment to fund a $100,000 endowment for the CoreNet Southwest UTD Real Estate Program Scholarship/Fellowship through the UTD Naveen Jindal School of Management. The $100,000 endowment will be used to provide scholarships and fellowships for the University's Real Estate Program in concert with students’ participation with local CoreNet Global chapter events and Young Leaders program.

JJ Williams, incoming President for the Southwest Chapter stated, ”We are very excited about our new partnership with UTD as our cooperation with the University really bridges our commitment to education and elevating the level of professionalism for today and tomorrow's leaders in the commercial real estate industry".
